Living Peace grieves the loss of Rev. Rick Judy, 56, who died Saturday, January 10, 2009 after a short illness. Rick was a vital part of our congregation for nearly 5 years, was ordained here in 2004, and had many more years of ministry ahead of him. We'll miss his big ideas and his unfailing optimism. | We are a small congregation rich with ministers. Instead of a single pastor, we have a "free ministry" style team. Each minister participates in the life of the congregation, and each has his/her own gifts and talents.
Rev. John Waite lives in South Vienna and is a licensed pastoral counselor with The Counseling Source in Cincinnati. He offers pastoral counseling services from the church. Please call him at 937-727-3162 for an appointment.
Rev. Mike Oskin lives in Columbus and is a hospital chaplain and Clinical Pastoral Education Supervisor at Riverside Methodist Hospital and Grant Medical Center in Columbus.
Rev. Deb Oskin lives in Columbus and is a tax professional with H&R Block. She's Living Peace's Peace Minister, and works actively with several local, regional, and national peace organizations. Deb is currently serving as the Board Chair for the Southern Ohio District of the Church of the Brethren.
Rev. Rick Judy served us faithfully for nearly five years before his death January 10, 2009 at age 56. We miss him.
Rev. Tim Kelley lives in Marysville and comes to us from a Quaker background. Tim is the Program Director for early childhood services (ages 0 to 3) in Union County.
